Program of 5^th AFJO

Ladies and dear Colleagues,
I am deeply honoured to be chosen as the president of 6th meeting of Association France-Japon d'Orthopédie (AFJO) at Osaka.
On behalf of all members of Société Franco-Japonaise d'Orthopédie (SOFJO) of Japan, I extend my hearty welcome to the colleagues and companions from France and Egypt as well as the Japanese friends.
I am much pleased to see the developement and progress from the views of scientific level and friendship between both countries since the first meeting of Paris in 1990.
Forty-one papers and one special lecture of high quality will be presented in this meeting and we hope many debates with fruitful results on these papers.
From the social point we can offer the joyful programs for the participants, in particular for ladies, such as the art of flower arrangement (ikebana), the sight-seeing of the Himeji Castle and classical temples with the work of the artisans around Nara etc.
In Japan the month of May is the best and the most comfortable season of a year, and I hope that you could enjoy fully your stay.
