WELCOME IN LYON
Dear Colleagues, Our 5thmeeting is now ready to start.
There will be 39 scientific communications, mainly by japonese Colleagues, and numerous topics will be studied : hip and knee surgery, upper limb surgery, spinal surgery...
Pr. SHICHIKAWA will perform a conference about the history of Orthopaedics in JAPAN ; there will be a round table about hip sonography and the presentation of the first French-Japonese study.
I hope to see as many of you as possible to make this meeting another successful scientific gathering but also to enjoy this superb city of LYON.

NOUVELLES DE L'ASSOCIATION FRANCE-JAPON D'ORTHOPEDIER. KOHLER, PrésidentJ. COTTALORDA, Secrétaire Général L'Association France-Japon d'Orthopédie (AFJO) vient d'élire un nouveau Président, le Professeur Rémi Kohier, au cours de son dernier congrès à Lyon. Le Professeur Jean-Pierre Courpied devient Président d'honneur et le Professeur Louis-Marie Collet Vice-Président. Le trésorier reste le Docteur Philippe Wicart. Le but de cette association fondée en 1992 est de développer et d'améliorer l'organisation des échanges de chirurgiens orthopédistes entre la France et le Japon. Aussi, I'AFJO a depuis 1990 reçu vingt confrères japonais qui ont tous été ravis de leur séjour. Nous essayons d'élargir le nombre de services pouvant accueillir nos amis japonais et nous encourageons tous nos collègues orthopédistes qui seraient disposés à les recevoir à se manifester. L'association organise tous les deux ans un congrès francojaponais, celui-ci étant alternativement en France et au Japon. Le dernier congrès s'est tenu à Lyon et a été un franc succès avec de nombreuses communications de très grande valeur scientifique. Le prochain congrès aura lieu dans deux ans au Japon et nous encourageons tous ceux qui seraient intéressés à y participer. L'Association France-Japon d'Orthopédie reste une association ouverte à tous ceux qui sont intéressés par une collaboration entre nos deux pays et toutes les demandes de renseignements ou courriers doivent être adressés au Secrétaire Général. |
